Processing

Metal processing consists of sorting, preparing and packaging. In order to complete these tasks, certain machinery and equipment are required. For instance, we use our baler or briquetter to compact your loose materials, shaker table to separate dissimilar grades of scrap, alligator shears to properly size your scrap.

Brokerage

We offer brokerage services enabling us to provide our suppliers the best possible price by moving their material directly back to a consumer without double handling through our own plant.

Freight

We provide pick-up and drop-off services, which include: roll-off containers, box trucks, flat bed capabilities. Depending on the type of service, there may be no additional cost involved.

Equipment

We have an extensive fleet of equipment to facilitate all of your metal recycling needs: dump hoppers, roll-off containers, Gaylord boxes, pallets, bins/ baskets, mobile cranes, trailers, metallurgical testing tools.

Production and Manufacturing

Silver’s Metal has a unique division within its operations. Silver’s crushes scrap spark plugs. The crushing of the plug consists of two aspects: the destruction of the plug and separation of the different commodities. Once processed, three goods are produced: crushed ceramic (2 sizes), a steel shell and ni/cr/cu pins. Each product is sold and utilized in various industries.
